A group of local candidates are holding a kick-off event for their campaigns on Friday night.

State representatives Virgle Osborne, Christine Goodwin and Court Boice and State Senator David Brock Smith will be at Melrose Vineyards at 6:00 p.m. The casual evening will include light hors d’oeuvres and a no host bar with beer provided by Lookingglass Brewery and wine from Melrose Vineyards. Attendees will be able to meet and get acquainted with the candidates.
