On Tuesday, Governor Tina Kotek submitted a list of state board and commission appointments to the Oregon State Senate for confirmation.

The Senate Committee on Rules is scheduled to consider the nominations on February 6th during the 2024 legislative session.

Kotek said, “Oregonians are hungry to tackle problems – and they have the drive and ideas to be forces for positive change”. Kotek said, “The individuals I am nominating today embody that value, and I look forward to the positive impact they will each bring to their respective boards and commissions”.

Only one Douglas County resident was appointed to a commission. County Commissioner Tim Freeman was appointed to another term on the Oregon Criminal Justice Commission.
