A Roseburg man was jailed by Roseburg Police following a reported criminal trespass incident on Saturday.

An RPD report said an investigation revealed that the 32-year old had either hid or slept in the closet of a business in the 500 block of Southeast Jackson Street when the location was open to customers, and was locked inside when the location was closed.

At just after 3:15 a.m. the man allegedly threw a brick through a glass door to exit the building. He then used his body to break the glass door wide enough for him to fit through the door. He was contacted just after 3:30 p.m. and was taken into custody.

The man was charged with second-degree counts of criminal mischief and criminal trespass. Bail was set at $7,500.
