Road closures are increasing around southern Oregon due to snow, as of late Saturday afternoon.
Information from the Oregon Department of Transportation says OR138E is closed from 11 miles east of Glide to U.S. Highway 97 in central Oregon. ODOT said that winter conditions, rock slides and fallen trees has led to the closure.
OR 230 from Union Creek to the intersection with OR 138E remains closed. OR 62 between Union Creek and the Crater Lake National Park boundary has reopened but travel is strongly discouraged.
Further south, a 62-mile section of OR66 is closed 4 miles east of Ashland heading east into Klamath County due to extreme winter weather conditions.
