Covering coastal Douglas County:

A contractor hired by the City of Reedsport will be laying new pipe and working in the street area of the Forest Hills Pump Station at the intersection of Forest Hills Road and North 22nd Street. A City release said the work will begin on Tuesday January 16th between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The contractor will be out in the road area with equipment and materials. Residents are asked to be cautious of workers in the area and use alternate routes if possible.
