CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE HOLDING ROSEBURG MEET & GREET

Republican candidate for Congress in the 4th District, Monique DeSpain will hold a meet & greet event in Roseburg on Saturday.

DeSpain had 30 years of service in the United States Air Force, the Air Force Reserve, and the Oregon Air National Guard, retiring with a rank of Colonel. For 20 of those years, she served as a lawyer with the Judge Advocate General’s Corps in various locations and deployments. That included Singapore, Bosnia, Kosovo, Cypress, Italy, at the Pentagon and in Oregon.

In 2019, DeSpain joined the Kevin Mannix Law Firm, working for the rights of crime victims, business owners and other Oregonians. In 2022, DeSpain joined the non-profit Common Sense for Oregon where she worked on public policy issues like homelessness, addiction, and crime in Oregon communities.

DeSpain will talk with Republicans and members of the community at 2:00 p.m. at Journey Church, at 1600 Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard.
