ONE PERSON BOOKED, ONE JAILED IN OVERNIGHT DUII INCIDENTS

One person was jailed and one was booked after overnight alleged DUII-alcohol incidents early Thursday.

A Roseburg Police report said just after 12:15 a.m. a 26-year man was stopped for traffic violations near the intersection of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard and Southeast Stephens Street. He took standard field sobriety tests, was arrested for DUII and was transported to corrections where he submitted to a breath test. His vehicle was impounded.

After being booked into corrections, he was released to a sober friend.

Just before 12:30 a.m. a 32-year old woman was stopped for a traffic violation near the corner of Southeast Pine Street and Southeast Oak Avenue. The officer observed signs of impairment. The driver took standard field sobriety tests and was arrested for DUII. She was transported to corrections where she submitted to a breath test.

The woman was detained on $10,000 bail.
