Myrtle Creek Police jailed a transient for an alleged trespass incident on Monday.

An MCPD report said just after 5:00 p.m. the 38-year old was seen on the property of a business in the 300 block of North Main Street. An officer located the suspect a couple of hours later. The man told the officer he was at the store location to tell his friend that he could not be there.

The transient was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct. He was detained on $1,250 bail.
