Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a woman following an alleged burglary on Friday.

A DCSO report said at 6:00 a.m. the 32-year old allegedly entered a porch attached to a residence in the 5900 block of Old Melrose Road. She reportedly stole a pair of shoes, ate some ice cream and drank some milk. She was taken into custody and charged with first-degree burglary and third-degree theft.

The woman was detained without bail.
