Roseburg Police jailed a woman following an alleged theft incident on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 7:15 p.m. officers contacted the 23-year old after witnesses allegedly watched her conceal multiple items while at a store in the 2100 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard, and leave without paying. She was taken into custody without incident and the stolen property was returned to the business.

The woman was charged with third-degree theft. Bail was set at $1,250. She was released early on Thursday.
