ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN AFTER ALLEGED CRIMINAL TRESPASS

Roseburg Police jailed a man after an alleged criminal trespass incident on Tuesday.

An RPD report said just after 6:45 a.m. employees at a business in the 700 block of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard asked for officers to trespass a 47-year old man who was allegedly sitting in a large pile of trash near the front door of the store. Officers contacted the man and asked him to leave the location countless times. He allegedly refused and was taken into custody on charges of second-degree criminal trespass and offensive littering.

Bail was set at $2,500.
