A Michigan man was charged with harassment and second-degree disorderly conduct by Roseburg Police on Friday.

An RPD report said just before 8:00 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance at a business in the 900 block of Southeast Stephens Street. After an investigation, it was determined that the 25-year old arrived at the location intoxicated and was refused service.

The suspect was allegedly yelling and trying to fight patrons inside the bar, impeding their ability to conduct business. After a verbal altercation, the man allegedly punched an elderly victim in the face at least six times before being pulled off by people inside the bar.

The man was taken to jail and held without bail
