ROSEBURG POLICE JAILED MAN AFTER ALLEGED HOSPITAL DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man after an  alleged hospital disorderly conduct incident on Friday night.

An RPD report said at 10:00 p.m. officers responded to CHI Mercy Medical Center after hospital security said a man was throwing items inside the building and attempting to fight security staff. Officers arrived and found hospital security staff restraining the 49-year old on the ground outside the hospital.

Security staff said the man threw a punch at them outside in the parking lot before he was restrained. The suspect was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and detained on $2,000 bail. He was released on Tuesday.
