A Roseburg woman was jailed by Roseburg Police after being charged with first-degree theft on Friday.

An RPD report said at 2:00 p.m. officers contacted 44-year old Karin Wright after she allegedly stole $1807.44 from Harbor Freight in the 1300 block of Southeast Stephens Street. Wright was an employee of the business and reportedly stole the money through fraudulent cash and gift card refunds.

Wright was taken to the Douglas County Jail and was held without bail. She was released on Saturday.
