Roseburg Police charged a man for an alleged recent fraud incident on Wednesday night.

An RPD report said an investigation regarding a stolen debit card being used on December 4th allegedly revealed that the 27-year old had used the card at a business in the 800 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard to purchase lottery tickets totaling $52. The suspect was already jailed on a previous warrant. He was contacted just before 9:30 p.m.

The new charges were identity theft, fraudulent use of a credit card, second-degree theft and for a parole violation. The man remained detained and is now held on $5,000 bail.
