It was an unusually warm December day in Roseburg Tuesday, but not quite a record for the date.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the mercury reached 61 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The record for December 19th is 63 degrees, set back in 1940.

Highs in Roseburg should be in the mid to upper 50s through Thursday, before dropping back to the mid to upper 40s through Christmas day.
