A Roseburg man was jailed after being contacted by police on Thursday.

A Roseburg Police report said at about 1:50 p.m. the 52-year old was seen at the courthouse on Southeast Douglas Avenue and allegedly showed signs of recent drug use. The man is on parole and his parole officer authorized that he be taken into custody. He was jailed on two counts of parole violation. The man was detained without bail.
