The Bureau of Land Management is in the process of hiring at least 100 paid student interns across the country, some of them here in the Pacific Northwest.
A BLM release said the internships are available in a variety of career fields and functions including civil engineering, public affairs, information technology, administration, nature resources, environment protection and many others.
Anyone 16 years of age or older and enrolled in school is eligible to apply
BLM Prineville District Manager Amanda Roberts said, “Applying for a job with the federal government is a little different than applying for other jobs.”
A Zoom workshop will be held Thursday at 4:00 p.m. to help students navigate the process. Roberts will provide a one-hour presentation on building federal resumes. Approximately 30 minutes will also be available for workshop attendees to ask questions. Register for the workshop at: https://blm.zoomgov.com/webinar/register/WN_2w2NwSRJR6y_TX7GDVC0_Q)
