ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOLLOWING REPORTED DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man following a reported disorderly conduct incident on Saturday.

An RPD report said at 2:30 p.m. officers contacted the 62-year old after he allegedly went into a business in the 500 block of Southeast Jackson Street and caused a disturbance. The suspect was reportedly upset about his phone not being repaired and started yelling. The man allegedly said he would burn the business down and smacked a phone out of an employee’s hand, before another employee took him to the ground.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $2,500.
