Roseburg Police cited a man following a reported harassment incident on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 12:45 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance at a business in the 900 block of Northeast Stephens Street. A 43-year old man had allegedly attacked a victim. The suspect was detained without incident. He told officers the victim was staring at him, so he slapped him which resulted in the physical disturbance.

The suspect was cited for harassment and second-degree disorderly conduct and was released at CHI Mercy Medical Center where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries that were sustained in the incident.
