ROSEBURG WOMAN JAILED FOR ALLEGED BURGLARY

A Roseburg woman was jailed by Roseburg Police for an alleged burglary case Friday night.

An RPD report said at 11:00 p.m. officers contacted 34-year old Nichelle Rogers at a residence that had been broken into earlier in the day in the 1100 block of Southeast Jackson Street. When located and interviewed, Rogers admitted to entering the garage earlier in the day and stealing items.

She was taken into custody and allegedly found to have brass knuckles in her possession. Rogers was charged with second-degree burglary, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and for a parole violation. She was detained without bail.
