Roseburg Police jailed a man following a reported store disturbance on Sunday.

An RPD report said just after 10:00 a.m. officers responded to Fred Meyer in the 900 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard, regarding a man allegedly fighting with loss prevention employees.

Upon arrival, officers detained 47-year old Ryan Ferguson in handcuffs and spoke with employees about the incident. The employees stated that Ferguson refused to leave the business after being asked to several times. Ferguson allegedly pushed one employee and body checked another, causing that employee to fall into shelving.

As Ferguson was walking out of the store, he reportedly turned around with a pocket knife partially opened and allegedly threatened the employees. Ferguson admitted to pushing the men and opening the knife and was taken into custody.

He was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, two counts each of menacing and harassment, and second-degree counts of criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. Ferguson was detained on $71,250 bail.
