A City release said the newsletter shares the latest news from various city departments.

Communications Specialist Suzanne Hurt said the publication looks at progress that has been made to address the homeless challenges, including the latest news about the Gary Leif Navigation Center, a possible urban campground and a winter warming center. Hurt said the newsletter also has information on the city council’s work on parking and goals, how police and fire staff engaged with the community and a 1934 Roseburg fire engine that returned home this fall.

The release said there is information about the OR 138E design plan, the performance of the water department, and the library’s upcoming five-year anniversary celebration along with winter safety tips and what city’s employees are doing to spread holiday magic.
