50TH ANNUAL DOUGLAS COUNTY CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR HAPPENING THROUGH SUNDAY

The 50th annual Douglas County Christmas Craft Fair is happening through Sunday at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

Presented by Cascade Community Credit Union, it is the largest holiday craft fair in southern Oregon with over 300 booths displaying a wide variety of hand-crafted items such as clothing, home décor, baked goods, lotions, soaps, wood crafts, metal sculptures, art décor and many other unique products.

Santa Claus will greet families in the Exhibit Building Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

General admission is $5 with kids age 12 and under getting in for free. Bring non-perishable food to go to local food pantries and get $1 off the admission price. All weekend residents can also bring a new pair of pajamas for local children in foster care.

The event is open Friday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For more information, go to www.douglasfairgrounds.com.
