The Friends of the Roseburg Public Library will have their Winter Book Sale in the Ford Room this Thursday through Saturday.

Library Director Kris Wiley said this will be a better book sale with gift-quality books just in time for the holidays. Wiley said most books are in great condition and will priced a $1 with no library withdrawals. Special art books and new editions published in the last three years will be offered for $5. Colorful handcrafted book bags will be available for $5.

Wiley said the sale will also include a great section of DVDs for 50 cents each and the usual vast table of mass market paperbacks for 25 cents each. The free clearance event will continue inside the library at the Friends Book Store.

Sale hours are 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday.

Book donations are welcome during library operating hours. Community members interested in volunteering can call 492-7051.
