Roseburg Police jailed a man after an alleged menacing incident on Sunday.

An RPD report said at 9:30 a.m. officers contacted 40-year old Rodger Oneal after he allegedly stole food, yelled at numerous employees and threatened to rob a business in the 1500 block of Southeast Stephens Street. At one point, an employee was reportedly holding the door shut because she believed Oneal was going to assault her if he got back inside the store.

He was charged with menacing, second-degree disorderly conduct and third-degree theft. Oneal was detained on $10,000 bail.
