A transient was jailed on the charge of second-degree disorderly conduct by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday afternoon.

A DCSO report said at 2:45 p.m. the 37-year old female was contacted after she was called in for sitting in an employee’s truck and refusing to leave in the 4000 block of Highway 99 South in Green. The woman agreed to exit the vehicle and the owner did not want to press charges.

The manager of a nearby business advised that she wanted the transient trespassed from the store. The deputy told the woman that she was now trespassed from the business and would go to jail if she returned.

The woman left but then appeared to be trying to get into a vehicle at yet another business nearby. She was contacted again and told to leave that property.

The transient then reportedly turned and started walking to the store again. She was told multiple times that if she went on that property she would go to jail, but she continued.

The transient was taken into custody and detained without bail.
