A Roseburg man was cited by Roseburg Police for depositing trash within 100 yards of a waterway, early Wednesday.

Information from RPD said at 1:50 a.m. the 56-year old was contacted due to his camp being near the river in a prohibited camping zone in the 900 block of Northeast Rowe Street. The man allegedly had trash and debris scattered around his tent.

He was released after being given the citation.
