The 2023 Umpqua Valley Festival of Lights begins this weekend.
The 31st annual event opens Sunday night at 5:30 at River Forks Parks, northwest of Roseburg. Presented by the Roseburg Rotary Club, it features over a half-million lights and over 90 displays. For the second season, it includes the Dutch Bros Holiday Village at Riversdale Grange at 4855 Garden Valley Road. The Holiday Village will be open Thursdays through Sunday nights from November 30th through December 24th.
One ticket lets families enjoy both the Festival of Lights and the Holiday Village.
Tickets for the event are $10 per carload and can be purchased at the gate or on the festival’s website. Festival hours are nightly 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the gates open until 10:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
Several special nights are on the schedule, allowing customers of a number of sponsoring businesses to get in for free. Proceeds from the Festival of Lights go to Rotary Scholarships and other Rotary sponsored programs.
