Two people were cited for a city ordinance violation by Roseburg Police on Saturday.

An RPD report said at 9:30 a.m. officers contacted a 54-year old woman at her camp at Charles Gardiner Park in the 2500 block of Northwest Renann Street. She was allegedly violating both the time and place portion of the Time, Place and Manner ordinance and was issued the citation for prohibited camping

At about 9:40 a.m. A 40-year old man was contacted at his camp in the 2600 block of Northwest Edenbower Boulevard. His tent was in place after 8:00 a.m. and there was trash reportedly strewn around on the ground. The man said he was aware of the recent city ordinance and was issued a citation for prohibited camping.
