Public Works crews with the City of Roseburg are continuing their fall leaf collection service for homeowners through Friday January 5th.

A City release said crews follow a cyclical, systematic route to help residents with leaf disposal and ensure leaf collection can be provided in an effective, cost-controlled program. The pickups began in the Laurelwood neighborhood then moved to the West Harvard Avenue area. They are continuing in a clockwise direction around the city, ending in the Mill-Pine Historic District.

Each cycle through Roseburg’s neighborhoods takes about a month, depending on the quantities of leaves picked up. Residents can see pickup route updates on the Public Works Department leaf pickup page at: https://www.cityofroseburg.org/departments/public-works/leaf-program, or call 492-6730.

Residents who want leaves delivered to their property can contact the Public Works Department. The minimum amount that will be delivered is approximately one dump truck load.
