Two people were cited for offensive littering and depositing trash within 100 yards of a waterway, in separate incidents on Monday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 8:30 a.m. officers contacted a 55-year old man regarding a large pile of rubbish surrounding his camp, in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street.

At 11:20 a.m. officers contacted a 41-year old woman at her camp near Templin Beach Park in the 100 block of Southeast Templin Street. The woman’s camp allegedly consisted of multiple tents, and a bunker dug into the ground at the water’s edge. There was trash strewn about all around the camp.

Both people were released after they were cited.
