In the KQEN Business Spotlight:

This fall, 104 educators in Douglas County have been selected to receive over $30,000 in grant money from Cascade Community Credit Union.

Marketing Director Shelby Beattie said the funds will benefit 34 schools in the area, including public and private schools of all grade levels.

Beattie said CCCU started the Chalkboard Grant Program in 2009 to help educators bring unique classroom projects to life. Since the start of the program, CCCU has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to local educators, supporting them in reaching their classroom goals.
