Roseburg received a record amount of rain for the date on Saturday.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the Roseburg Regional Airport registered 2.14 inches of rain. The previous record for November 4th was 1.1 inches of precipitation, which happened in 1973. Rainfall was heaviest in Roseburg late in the evening.

That amount is more rain than Roseburg got in the entire month of October. 1.88 inches of rain was received at the airport last month. The normal amount of rain for October is 2.32 inches.

Roseburg received an additional .40 inches of rain on Sunday.
