Roseburg Police cited two people for prohibited camping on Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said at 8:30 a.m. officers contacted the 41-year old man and 35-year old woman regarding the status of their camp at Charles Gardiner Park in the 2500 block of Northeast Renann Ave. The camp consisted of a tent, a tarp, and multiple wagons filled with items. It was in place after 8:00 a.m. and was within a restricted camping area.

The pair were each issued citations and then were released.
