Roseburg Police made a sex crime arrest early Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 2:00 a.m. 29-year old Luis Martinez Hernandez was taken into custody at a residence in the 2000 block of Northeast Stephens Street. This follows an investigation regarding a sex crime that allegedly occurred on October 29th.

Martinez Hernandez was charged with first-degree counts of rape and sexual abuse. He was detained without bail.

No additional information was released by RPD.
