Contractors for the Oregon Department of Transportation are working on the Lone Rock Bridge on Oregon 138E near Glide.

ODOT’s weekly construction report said the project will increase the vertical clearance of the bridge, paint the steel truss, repair concrete sections of the bridge and replace the driving surface. The bridge is limited to a single lane until mid-November as the contractor repairs the deck and roadway. That lane is limited to 10 feet 6 inches in width. A traffic signal is in place, though flaggers may provide traffic control during daylight hours.

This two-bridge $3.8 million project will also repair Dodge Bridge on Oregon 234 in Jackson County.
