A Freeze Warning is in effect for much of southern Oregon from 2:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Saturday, with a Freeze Watch in place from late Saturday night through Sunday morning.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said for the Warning, sub-freezing temperatures as low as 25 degrees are expected. For the Watch, sub-freezing temperatures down to 24 degrees are possible.

This applies to central Douglas County, Josephine and Jackson counties, and eastern Curry County.

Forecasters said frost and freeze conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation and may possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
