A Freeze Watch is in effect from late Friday night through  Saturday morning for Central Douglas County.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said sub-freezing temperatures as low as 27 degrees are possible. This includes the communities of Roseburg, Winchester, Sutherlin, Umpqua and Green.

Forecasters said frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, and other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
