Jerry Bruce Community Campus partner organizations including Family Development Center, The FISH Food Pantry, Umpqua Homes Inc., United Community Action Network and Aviva Health are holding a trunk-or-treat for local families on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Aviva parking lot on Northeast Kenneth Ford Drive, just north of Costco.

A release said more than 30 staff members from the partner organizations are volunteering their time and trunks to hand out store-purchased, individually wrapped candy or toys to children and families. Children and their parents or guardians are encouraged to wear family friendly costumes to add more Halloween spirit to the event.

The Aviva parking lot on the west side of the facility where the event takes place will be closed to vehicle traffic for the safety of families and volunteers attending. Families can park on the east side of the Aviva building and the Aviva employee parking lot located in the northeast corner of the Costco parking lot.
