Roseburg Police jailed a man for alleged disorderly conduct on Wednesday.

An RPD report said just before 3:50 p.m. a 28-year allegedly pulled a bollard out of the ground in the downtown parking garage in the 500 block of Southeast Rose Street and threw it towards parked vehicles, alarming multiple people. The suspect was contacted and issued a warning. He returned later with a metal bar and was reportedly hitting it on various things.

No damage was found, but several people were reportedly alarmed by what was called, “violent behavior”. The man was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $2,500.
