Winston Police jailed a woman following an alleged DUII wreck on Monday night.

A WPD report released Thursday said at 7:20 p.m. the 60-year old’s vehicle allegedly rear ended a vehicle at the intersection of North Main Street and Northeast Douglas Avenue and then drove away. Officers located the woman sitting in her car at the liquor store on West Douglas Boulevard. She reportedly showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody.

The woman was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants and failure to perform the duties of a driver-property damage. She was detained without bail and released on Tuesday.
