Greater Roseburg Young Life is hosting Mentors That Matter on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m.

Called a “unique storytelling event”, the program will feature five speakers sharing personal stories about the impact that mentors had in their lives. A feature presentation from the organization’s director Jon Nutter is included, along with an opportunity for those in attendance to donate to the program.

Nutter said, “Mentorship is at the heart of Young Life’s mission”. Nutter said he hopes that the event inspires people to invest their story into the story of young people in the area.

Speakers for the evening include: First Christian Church Senior Pastor Daniel Mallipudi, Roseburg Public Schools Director of Teaching and Learning Dr. Jill Weber, Excellence in Women’s Health Care owner and obstetrician/gynecologist Dr. Linda Sewell, Cathedral Consulting Chairman and CEO Seth Buechley, and Columbia Cascades Young Life Regional Director Katie Davis.
