Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping in Stewart Park on Monday.

An RPD report said at 10:20 a.m. officers contacted the 41-year old who allegedly had his tent set up in a grassy area east of the Park’s Department building. The man reportedly had tarps tied to the trees and it was far exceeding the 10 foot by 10-foot size restriction.

The man was released after being cited.
