POLICE JAIL MAN ON 34 CHARGES FOLLOWING ALLEGED THEFT CASE

Roseburg Police jailed a man Monday night on 34 charges following an alleged theft case.

The RPD report said at 10:30 p.m. officers contacted 45-year old Jack Richardson Junior in the 200 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. Richardson reportedly had stolen a credit card and made multiple fraudulent charges throughout Roseburg. Richardson allegedly admitted to taking the card and using it without the owner’s permission. Richardson was taken into custody without incident. He reportedly had a small amount of methamphetamine in his pocket.

Richardson was charged with first-degree theft and 11 counts each of fraudulent use of a credit card, computer crimes and identity theft. He was cited for the meth. Richardson was detained without bail.
