Sutherlin Police jailed a woman following an alleged assault on Monday night.

An SPD report said shortly after 9:20 p.m. 21-year old Kyley Smith was detained for allegedly biting a victim multiple times, leaving cuts, teeth marks, bleeding and bruising. The incident reportedly occurred in the 800 block of South Comstock Road. Smith was allegedly uncooperative during questioning and resisted arrest.

She was charged with a felony count of fourth-degree assault, resisting arrest and for harassment. Smith was detained without bail.
