The driver was taken to the hospital after a single vehicle wreck Friday morning.

An Oregon State Police report said at about 5:50 a.m. a pickup was eastbound on Highway 138E near milepost 55, about 4 miles west of Toketee, negotiating a slight right-hand curve when it veered left and exited the roadway for an unknown reason. The pickup struck the ditch before hitting a tree. The vehicle overturned and came to rest on its top in the ditch on the north side of the roadway.

The 39-year old man was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for complaints of neck and shoulder pain. The pickup was towed from the accident scene.
