Winston Police jailed a man for a warrant and alleged methamphetamine possession on Thursday afternoon.

A WPD report said at 2:20 p.m. officers contacted the 40-year old at Douglas High School in the 1300 block of Northwest Douglas Boulevard knowing that he had a felony warrant for his arrest. The suspect was taken into custody and was reportedly found to be in possession of nearly 4 grams of meth. He was detained without bail.
