Roseburg Police jailed a man on a charge of public indecency early Friday.

An RPD report said shortly before 3:00 a.m. officers responded after a caller said a half-naked man was lying in the grass near a business in the 2400 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. Officers saw the 48-year old suspect with his pants off, holding his genital area. The man was told multiple times to put his pants on but he would not do so. The incident continued while Adapt Mobile Crisis arrived on the scene. After repeatedly telling the man to cooperate, he was taken into custody

Bail was set at $6,250.
