On Wednesday, State Representative Virgle Osborne made a statement affirming his support for Israel.

Osborne said he is “…mourning the more than 1,000 innocent lives taken far too soon by a monstrous terrorist organization”.

Osborne said, “Our office stands with the people of Israel. The atrocities that have been committed by Hamas terrorists against innocent men, women and children are among the most gruesome acts we have seen in decades”.

Osborne said, “Myself and my staff along with the people of House District 2 are praying for the lives lost and the countless families affected by this senseless violence. We are also praying for the brave men and women who are on the front lines, taking the fight to Hamas and defending the innocent”.

Osborne’s statement concluded by saying, “Godspeed to the people of Israel and Jewish communities in Oregon and elsewhere. We have your back. Always”.
